Installing Rain-X products, whether it’s wiper blades or glass treatment, is pretty straightforward, but there are a few things to keep in mind to get the best results.

First, make sure your windshield is clean and dry before applying any Rain-X treatment. For wiper blades, follow the instructions carefully—most of their blades come with adapters that fit a variety of vehicles, so don’t stress if it looks a bit complicated at first.

I've installed Rain-X products quite a few times, and I agree, it’s usually pretty straightforward, but there are definitely a few things to keep in mind. One thing I’ve noticed is that the glass treatment works best if you really take the time to clean the windshield thoroughly beforehand. I usually give it a good wash, then use a glass cleaner, and sometimes even a clay bar to make sure there’s no residue left. That way, the Rain-X treatment adheres better and lasts longer.

For the wiper blades, I remember the first time I installed them, I was a bit confused by all the adapters that came in the box. But once you figure out which one fits your car, it’s smooth sailing from there. One tip is to compare the old wiper blade with the new one before you start, just to make sure you're attaching the right adapter. It saves a bit of time and frustration.

As for challenges, the only thing that’s ever tripped me up was getting the wiper blades to click securely into place, especially in colder weather when the plastic feels a bit stiffer. In those cases, I usually warm up the adapter slightly with my hands, and it clicks in easier.
