Cool  What Does "Attach - Hook (9x3/9x4)" Mean?
For those new to this, "Hook (9x3)" is the method and size of the connector used to attach the wiper blade to the arm:
  • Hook: The wiper arm ends in a hook shape that the blade fits into. This is a standard attachment method, making it easy to replace wiper blades.
  • 9x3/9x4: This indicates the hook's dimensions: 9mm wide and 3/4mm thick. You’ll need to get wiper blades that match these dimensions to ensure they fit securely.

Exclamation  How to Change Your Wiper Blades

To change the wiper blades on your Acura RL, lift the wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays up on its own. Press the small tab where the blade connects to the arm to release the old blade. Slide the blade off the hook, then take your new blade and slide it onto the hook until you hear it click into place. Lower the arm back onto the windshield, and you’re good to go!
Keep your RL performing at its best, and enjoy those smooth drives with a clear view!

Thanks for the detailed info on the wiper sizes and attachment types! It's super helpful to have all the sizes laid out like this, especially since the older models use different lengths than the newer ones.

I recently had to change my wipers on my 2008 RL, and the hook attachment system made the process pretty straightforward. The 9x4 hook size is pretty standard, so finding replacement blades wasn’t an issue at all. I’d also add that it’s a good idea to replace your wipers every 6 months to a year, depending on your driving conditions, to keep that smooth ride as safe as possible.

Appreciate the step-by-step guide on changing the blades too—makes it easy for anyone new to this. Thanks again for sharing this!
